The Green Man free house is a very friendly pub set in 13 acres of countrside offering a bar with Sky Sports, juke box, open fire and pool table.
The lounge bar also has an open fire as well as serves food. Food is served Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm till 9pm and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.
Food consists of light bites from £4.95, all traditional English dishes. We also offer exotic meats including crocodile, kangeroo and more. Remember we are the home of Nick’s famous pies too!
On Sundays we serve a traditional Sunday lunches with three different meat choices.
We provide buffets for Christenings, funerals and other events too. Please contact us for information and pricing.
We offer free wi-fi access to all our visitors as well as providing occasional band and kareoke nights. Details of these will be posted on our Events page and mailed to subscribers. Please enter your name and email address in the box to the right if you would like to receive these notifications.
Outside we have two gardens where you can sit and enjoy a quiet drink.
We can provide you with an outside bar for your event or function. Please see our Outdoor bar page for full information on this service.
We have a level caravan site and 9 hole pitch and putt golf course set in 5 acres of our grounds too. We are happy to cater for your golf party.
We also cater for small rallies in the summer and are central for Alton Towers (35 minutes by car), Shugborough (20 minutes by car), Cannock Chase (20 minutes by car), Uttoxeter Racecourse (20 minutes by car) and Blithfield Reservoir (10 minutes by car).
